Camping With Two Chimps Coffee
Are you looking to get away for a relaxing camping weekend?
Well, we have someone we’d like you to meet who can definitely help with that! Greendale Farm is a campsite for motorhomes, caravans and tents exclusively available to adults. The campsite is based just outside of Whissendine in Rutland and has some incredible views for you to enjoy. The campsite is located along a lane; approximately half a mile from Whissendine itself. Whissendine has a great pub, a village shop, coffee shop and it’s very own windmill. Let’s take a closer look at what it’s like to go camping with Two Chimps Coffee.
Brew a coffee, sit back and relax
The campsite has hard standing pitches, electricity, free wifi, heated shower/toilet block AND its own shop. Greendale Farm really has everything you could need for a great weekend of camping.
Greendale is a member of Tranquil Parks; which have over 40 campsites exclusively for adults around the UK. Additionally, these campsites are known for offering campers a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
With 12 pitches in total, Greendale Farm is large enough that you can make some new friends but small enough so you can also have some peace and quiet during your stay. When the sun makes an appearance, the campsite also has a heated outdoor pool to take a dip in. Enjoy ice cream and a drink from the onsite shop while relaxing by the pool on the sun loungers too.
The pitches offered are well-spaced and carefully positioned to ensure privacy. Each pitch is different and is equipped for various types of campers.
One of Greendale Farm’s core values is protecting their local environment and committing to conservation. The campsite received The David Bellamy Gold Award for conservation in their 2012/13 season. To encourage a variety of birds, feeders are also located around the campsite which in turn attracts bird watchers from all over the UK.
Coffee Time
As well as offering campers a variety of local products such as honey, rapeseed oil, jams and free-range eggs, the campsite’s shop is now stocking Two Chimps Coffee! Currently, you will find our 50g taster bags of ‘Round Hole, Square Peg’ and ‘Isle of View’, both available ready ground for a cafetiere. This amount of coffee is ideal for your morning brew and, if you really enjoy it, (which you will) you can always pop to the roastery to take a few bags with you – we are only 5 minutes down the road!
All of our coffee is hand-roasted in small batches multiple times a week. To ensure the coffee is as fresh as possible at Greendale Farm, we contact the team at the start of each week for their coffee order, roast this fresh and deliver a few days later. Meaning you can go camping with Two Chimps Coffee and enjoy our freshly roasted coffee whilst on holiday!
Our coffees are known as speciality coffees. Speciality coffees are a much higher grade of Arabica coffee and have been looked after through the growing and harvesting process. They are also handpicked, hand-sorted and hand-roasted before reaching your cup. As a result, the flavours produced are truly awesome. Some coffees have lighter fruity notes such as apple and tropical fruit, whereas others naturally have sweeter notes, such as chocolate and hazelnut.
