Two Chimps Coffee at Brookfest 2018
Introducing the Glastonbury of Rutland!
For the first time this year, Brookfest festival took place on a small farm in Rutland. We’ll give you two guesses who provided the coffee at Brookfest.
Brookfest is a 2-day festival that takes place in Greetham, Rutland. With a large variety of acts to see and things to do, we knew Brookfest was going to be epic! The weekend included lots of kids activities such as face painting, Nerf Gun wars, rounders, football and have a go archery.
To keep people feeling their best, pilates classes and yoga classes were taking place along with Reiki rocks and massages.
As well as Two Chimps Coffee at Brookfest, there were lots of other food and drinks available.
The Bicycle Bar was keeping people refreshed with cocktails, beers and wines.
The Fish and Chip Van was on call for people who fancied some good ol’ English grub.
Sticky Beaks were sorting out people’s sore heads in the morning with their breakfast bar.
Mrs Tuk Tuk was introducing people to some excellent Thai cuisine. And to top it all off, in the evenings there was marshmallow toasting around the campfire.
Friday night kicked off with a campfire session with Paul McClure, the Rutland Troubadour. The Shepherds Hut Bar were supplying the beers, gins and wines to get people into that Friday night feeling.
Saturday rolled around and with it came the live music! Acts such as AKA George, Jordon Poole and Eevah took to the stage before Headliner Zak Abel closed the live music stage off.
He was followed by an afterparty including Brookfest resident House DJs Uncle D, Kenny Stone and Big Strangey.
Two Chimps coffee at Brookfest
Over at the Two Chimps Coffee stand, we were serving the festival goers ‘The Tiny Horse’ which is a full-bodied coffee with a biscuit sweetness from El Salvador.
By day we were curing peoples hangovers, and by night we were most likely causing a few! In the evenings we began serving our own Espresso Martinis which went down a treat! We also used ‘The Tiny Horse’ when making our Espresso Martinis.
Check out our guide to find out how we make our Espresso Martinis.
With live music, fun activities, beer, wine, a few sore heads and of course awesome coffee, Brookfest was a great event to be a part of. Hats off to the team at ‘In The Stix’ you guys rule! See you next year eh?!?
