Just like all the best ideas, this one came from our Two Chimps team chat! It all started when head chimp Andy stumbled upon an article called ‘Are you the UK’s Best Office Baker?’ Knowing how much I love baking and how the team enjoys digging into my homemade cakes for their birthdays, he thought I should enter!

After considering what to submit as my entry, I chose to go with a team favourite, Tiramisu Cookies. These soft and chewy cookies are infused with ground coffee, delivering that perfect coffee kick reminiscent of classic Tiramisu. Topped with a swirl of fresh cream and a dusting of cocoa powder, they are delicious alongside a cup of coffee (of course!)

What happens at the final?

The final is set to commence at the renowned Divertimenti Cookery School in London tomorrow, with the event being run by the team at Zyliss, a Swiss kitchenware brand. The three finalists will participate in a ‘bake-off’, making a carrot cake using a recipe provided for us.

The competition is judged by Jo Pratt, an award-winning food writer, food stylist and presenter, Jules Kane, Head of Divertimenti Cookery School and Heidi Thomas, Head of Marketing at DK Household Brands (which includes Zyliss).
