Fresh Coffee at Greens Stores of Bassingham
Village stores really are the heart of any village.
Whether you’ve run out of bread and you’ve got all the family coming over for breakfast, or you’re popping in to get the days’ paper, there’s one village store that nearly had it all… and now it does! You can now find Two Chimps fresh coffee at Greens Stores of Bassingham.
But there’s no rush. It’s also a great place to catch up with your fellow villagers while buying your groceries. It is safe to say that this village store gives a sense of community to a village.
Lincolnshire. Bassingham is a small village with a population of around 1500. It is tucked in between Newark-on-Trent and Lincoln.
This small village has a primary school and a Methodist chapel which, in 1998, had a seventh bell added to its tower. The extra bell came from HMS Bassingham and is used to signal the start of Sunday worship. The village also has two pubs and, of course, Greens Store.
Hello Greens Stores!
As well as offering customers regular groceries, Greens Stores has lots of fresh products which are sourced from many local businesses in the area.
Recently, Greens Stores opened a card room, allowing customers to find cards for all sorts of occasions as well as lots of amazing and unique gifts to go with them.
On top of all of this, Greens Stores is also the villages Post Office. So you can send a parcel, pick up some groceries and sort a card and birthday present all under one roof! What more could you want?
Using their Facebook page, Greens Stores are always helping out the community too. If someone has lost something or needs help with something, Greens Stores will share it to get the word out. If someone has dropped or left something in or around the store, they will post on their page and keep it safe until someone comes to claim it.
