Fresh Coffee
Here at Two Chimps Coffee, we pride ourselves in supplying fresh coffee weekly to our wholesale and retail customers. We know how important it is to supply coffee at it’s freshest because the fresher the coffee is, the better it tastes. This is why we source fresh green coffee beans from around the globe and hand roast in small batches, multiple times each week. We even deliver them to you the same week. Now, that IS fresh.
Our top tip when choosing a wholesale coffee provider, would be to look for minimum order quantities and delivery charges. At Two Chimps Coffee, we have neither. In fact, We always recommend that our customers order small amounts of coffee every week, rather than one large order a month. This way, they know when they get their order, they can continue to serve super fresh coffee, which was freshly roasted that week.
We also know the importance of consistency. If you’re running a coffee shop, the last thing you need is an unreliable supplier. You don’t have to worry about that with us as we ensure that you’ll always have fresh coffee. We will contact you every week to see what you need, roast your beans to order and deliver them to you the same week.
If that wasn’t enough, we’ll even hand deliver them to you where possible, and where it isn’t possible, we use a next day courier; all for free! We are also on hand 24/7 if you need us ? We are only a call away.
Good Quality Coffee
We only source speciality coffee, which is the highest grade of coffee available. Speciality coffee has scored 80 points or above out of 100, when tasted by certified coffee tasters, otherwise known as Q Graders.
The reason it is so good is because of the care that has gone into growing the beans. As an example, speciality coffee is picked carefully by hand, choosing only the ripest of coffee cherries, unlike lower graded coffee beans where machines are used to harvest them.
Speciality coffee has so many flavours to discover, all of which are naturally occurring. For instance, if we want beans for espresso, we’ll look for something more full bodied with notes of, say, chocolate, caramel and nuts. If we want a lighter coffee for filter on the other hand, we’ll look for more fruity and acidic flavours within a coffee.
We ethically source our beans through direct trade, with the help of an importer, from small farms all over the world. This trade route allows more money to go straight to the farmer, rather than a proportion going to organisations on the way, such as Fairtrade.
Speciality coffee demands a higher price than commodity coffee; around 30-150% more in fact. This is because is simply is worth more as the quality is higher. With this in mind, organisations such as Fairtrade simply are not required to guarantee a minimum price as the price gained through excellent coffee trumps the Fairtrade price, extensively.
Tell me more!
We have at least six different single origin coffees available at all times, plus limited editions and a chemical free decaffeinated coffee. Because we source from small farms and cooperatives, all of our coffees do change from time to time. Once a coffee has grown, been harvested, roasted and drunk, that particular coffee ceases to exist. Therefore, something new and fresh must take its place. Its replacement is always similar to its predecessor however, just maybe from a different origin.
If you wanted to create your own coffee, then we offer a custom blending service too. This allows you to create an amazing coffee blend just for you, that won’t be available for anyone else!
I have a small budget, is it going to cost me much?
Not at all. You might think that it’s cheaper going to a wholesaler to buy your coffee, but when you see what else you get from the team at Two Chimps Coffee, we are sure you will see us as the better deal.
Firstly, we only use speciality coffee. Coffee that you’d buy from a wholesaler will be a much lower grade and therefore won’t taste anywhere near as good. Also, you never really know how old the coffee at the cash and carry is; they only ever put a best before or use by date of up to one year. We know that coffee is best when it’s fresh, and that’s why we add the roasted on date, and who roasted the coffee to each bag.
Coffee is at its freshest between three and fourteen days after roasting and with this in mind, we recommend ordering little and often, so you’ll know that all your coffee will be super fresh every time.
As well as delivering your freshly roasted beans by hand where possible every week, we also set up your espresso machine and grinder to ensure you get the best out of your coffee. The best coffee can still taste like cheap coffee if it is not extracted correctly. We’ll train you and any staff as part of the service and any time you need a refresher; we’ll come back for more.
Fresh, local produce
We’re a small independent coffee roastery who know the importance of sourcing local and helping other small artisan businesses. If this is important to you too, then come and see us!

Meet the chimp behind this article!
Head Chimp founded Two Chimps alongside Laura in 2016 after being self-employed from the age of 21. He caught the coffee bug from using an at-home roaster, and the rest is history!
What Andy does outside of the treehouse:
When the weather’s nice, Andy loves going on bike rides with his trusty sidekick, microchimp Felix (who always leads the way, of course). Andy also enjoys spending time tending to the family’s vegetable garden, and looking after their at-home farmyard, which includes a cat, two guinea pigs, and six chickens!
Andy says…
“I believe every day is a school day, and I’m always looking for opportunities to stick my head in a book and absorb new knowledge. I also love a problem to solve and fix – there’s no such thing as problems, only solutions.”
