New Management at The Exeter Arms in Easton

The Exeter Arms in Easton on the hill is under new management.

The new team are already part of the Two Chimps Troop, so you’re in for a treat when you next visit this awesome village pub. The Exeter Arms has been refurbished tastefully, adding to this village pubs charm. The pub has an Orangery where customers can enjoy delicious food throughout the week.

The pub also has a smaller ‘Snug’ room, which can be enjoyed during the busier hours. Alternatively, this area can be used for private events and functions. When we’re lucky enough to get some sun, you can enjoy The Exeter Arm’s food and drink on their spacious outdoor patio and terrace.

As well as The Exeter Arms, Rob and Liam also own The Copper Room in Stamford.

At the Copper Room, you can enjoy a huge variety of craft beers, wines and cocktails. One of our favourite cocktails is their Espresso Martini (obviously!) which is made with Two Chimps Coffee. Check out our blog about The Copper Room for more!

As the team will continue to tweak the finer touches, their current menu gives you a little insight into the great food that you can expect from this pub. They have a great drinks menu too with some favourites from The Copper Room making their way over to the Exeter Arms.

Let’s Talk Coffee

In addition to their awesome food and drink menu, as mentioned above, The Exeter Arms also serves Two Chimps Coffee.

Currently, you will find ‘The Kittens Onesie’ from Nicaragua available from their espresso machine. This single origin speciality coffee is creamy and sweet with an apple like acidity. They also currently serve ‘Starry Eyed’ from Costa Rica which is our sparkling water decaf coffee.

Here at Two Chimps Coffee, we only roast the good stuff. Before our coffee reaches us, it is first given a cupping score. The coffee will be scored on things such as aroma, taste and mouthfeel and will then be given an overall score. If a coffee receives 80 points or less, it won’t be given the ‘speciality’ title. This means the coffee we roast really is the best of the best.

To ensure the coffee at The Exeter Arm’s is the freshest it can be, we contact them at the start of the week for their coffee order. Their order is then hand roasted at our Roastery in Rutland, packaged up and delivered a few days later.
