Two Chimps Coffee in Syston
Our latest Troop member offers you so much more than just tea and cakes.
If you’re looking for a tea room that stands out from the rest, you’ve come to the right place.
Introducing… Occasions Tea Room! This vintage tea room is based in Syston; a small town on the outskirts of Leicester.
You will find a traditional tea room menu, which includes their ‘Occasions Grande Breakfast.’ This includes lots of yummy breakfast items such as bagels, pancakes and teacakes which come with various toppings and fillings. This also comes with your choice of bucks fizz or orange juice.
Throughout the day you can enjoy their delicious sandwiches or panini’s or maybe even their soup of the day. As any tea room should, Occasions Tea Room have a variety of awesome cakes which you can enjoy a slice or two of also.
What They Offer
In addition to offering some great food, party packages are available which include some great experiences such as beauty treatments, tarot card readings, craft classes and loads more! These all include afternoon tea, of course.
Not sure what to do for your child’s birthday? Occasions Tea Room have got you covered! They offer party packages for children’s birthday’s which include craft classes, entertainers and magicians to name a few. These packages also include a vintage tea party for your children’s birthday too.
Occasions Tea Room have open events which you can attend. Events in the past have included a ‘Ladies Night’, ‘Tapas & Tarot Evening’, and ‘Open Mic’ to name a few. Just ask for a copy of the events guide to see what’s on.
Craft classes also take place here with things such as sugarcraft and jewellery making. There are also craft classes for children which are available during school breaks.
Where We Come In
To add to all the awesome things you’ve just read, Occasions Tea Room now offer Two Chimps Coffee! Through their Espresso Machine, you will currently find ‘Box of Frogs’ from El Salvador which is a super creamy and moreish all day coffee. Also currently on offer is ‘Starry Eyed’ which is our sparkling water decaffeinated coffee from Costa Rica.
The coffee that Occasions Tea Room receive from us is known as speciality coffee. This is a much higher grade of Arabica coffee which has been cared for throughout its life; from growing to roasting. For a coffee to be given the ‘speciality’ title, it must receive a cupping score of 80 or above. This score is based on things such as aroma, taste and mouthfeel.
