We post every item using Royal Mail first class delivery as we want to ensure you get your coffee quickly and at it’s freshest.
Royal Mail say that 93% of their first class deliveries arrive the next day – wahoo! Although we can’t guarantee these, we hope that Royal Mail continue to carry out this fantastic service. Need it guaranteed? Choose special delivery at checkout and order before midday. This will ensure your delivery arrives on the very next working day.
So, order before 12 each working day and your order will be dispatched using first class delivery, the same day. Order after 12 and your order will be dispatched the next working day.

Coffee Delivery that Couldn’t be Easier
Coffee delivery is important to us. That’s why we’ve designed our packaging for our coffee bags with letterboxes in mind. All of our 250g ground or whole bean coffee orders fit neatly in a rigid, large letter sized envelope. If your letterbox is too small to accommodate a larger sized envelope (ours measure approximately 20cm wide, 28cm long and 2cm deep) have your fresh coffee delivered to work instead? Sharing it at work isn’t compulsory (unless you want to!)
Deliveries
We use Royal Mails small parcel service for larger deliveries of coffee, along with products. These don’t always need a signature, but without the help of a liquidiser, they will not fit through a letterbox. If you are worried about missing your coffee delivery, have your parcel/s delivered to work instead. Alternatively, please let us know a safe place you wish the parcel to be left, and we will be sure to let the postman know by way of a note in the special instructions column on the front of your package. Please make sure that it is indeed a safe and secure place. You don’t want any pesky coffee thieves getting their hands on your order!
Need your delivery sooner?
At an extra cost, you can now place your order with Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery. This means that if you place an order before noon, we guarantee you will receive your coffee delivery before 1 pm the next day.
If you would like Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery on your order, simply change this in the delivery options at the checkout.
Starting a coffee subscription with us, for you or for a friend? You can now choose to add Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery to your first order. After that, your subscription will be posted with our Free First Class Delivery. This can be done with our gift subscriptions too!
Last minute shopping?
Left your Christmas Shopping to the last minute and need your coffee delivery asap? Well, as long as you place your order before noon, you can have your gifts wrapped and under the Christmas Tree the next working day. Just select our Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery option.
Are you like me and rubbish at remembering birthdays? Then the guaranteed next working day delivery option is ideal for sorting that last minute birthday present. It’s also great if you’ve run out of coffee and your coffee subscription isn’t due for another week. Or maybe you just can’t wait to get stuck into your coffee order and need it straight away. I know I’d be the same!
Want to make sure your order is on it’s way to you? With Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery, you can track your order so you can make sure that no pesky coffee thieves have taken it on its route.
All of our coffee brewing devices in our store can have Guaranteed Next Working day delivery added if needed too. This option isn’t just for coffee delivery.
To aid with your coffee delivery, we would recommend the following:
If you are looking for a regular subscription of coffee delivered through your door, please make sure that your billing address and shipping address are correct and up to date at all times. Planning on moving? Please don’t forget to change your delivery address, as I am sure you don’t want your coffee drunk by ‘The weird beardy guy’ you sold your house to.
If you would prefer to have your coffee delivered to an address other than your home address, ensure that you change it accordingly at the checkout. For your order to be placed successfully please make sure the billing address you give is the address registered to the card you are using.
All orders are posted the same working day unless you order after the postman has collected. This is usually around noon. If you order your fresh coffee delivery after this time, don’t fear – in these cases; we will ensure that your order(s) are posted on the next working day.
Going away and are worried about what to do with your coffee subscription delivery?
If you are lucky enough to be going away and you’re still in the UK, have your coffee delivered to your holiday address instead. Coffee and a holiday, it can’t get better than that!
If you are going abroad and don’t want your coffee stocks to build, pause your coffee delivery while you are away. To do this, log in to your account and navigate to the subscription page.
How often should I have my coffee delivered?
We recommend that instead of buying your coffee in bulk from us, you buy it little and often. As mentioned above, we only use Royal Mail 1st Class for our deliveries. By ordering your coffee little and often, you will be able to enjoy the freshest coffee possible. If you do buy in bulk, you could be left with stale, old coffee. Nobody wants that! Remember, fresh is best.
Please note: We do not dispatch on a weekend or bank holiday. Currently, we only ship to the UK and Northern Ireland.
Currently, we have packages and parcels collected five days a week. Royal Mail currently delivers these six days a week – to include Saturday mornings. This means that if you order with us on Friday before our collection time, you should receive your fresh coffee delivery on Saturday.
Royal Mail 1st class aims to be delivered through your door the very next day. If your parcel or package isn’t with you within three days, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will investigate this further.
If you are local to the Roastery, you are more than welcome to come and collect your order rather than have this delivered. Come and meet the team and you might even get a sneak peak of our roastery. Only if you’re good though!

Coffee Delivery – Returns and Refund Policy
If you are not entirely satisfied with your coffee delivery or have changed your mind, we’re here to help. You can cancel and return your order to us up to 14 days after your order has been delivered. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
In addition, your item must be in the original packaging, and you will need to have the receipt or proof of purchase. Upon informing us of your decision to cancel your order, you have 14 days to post your item back to us.
Upon receiving your item:
Firstly, we will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit or debit card (or original method of payment) within 14 days.
Finally, upon initiating your refund, you will receive the credit to your original method of payment within 3-10 days. This can depend on your card issuer’s policies.
Posting your item back to us:
You will be responsible for paying for your postage costs for returning your item.
If your item is damaged:
First of all, please contact us at the earliest possibility.
We may ask for photos of the damaged goods and packaging so we can investigate further.
Lastly, return postage will be at our expense. A replacement will be sent to you upon receipt of the damaged item/s.
Coffee Delivery – Delivery Policy
All of the items from our website are dispatched using fast and free 1st class tracked delivery over £25 unless you opt for special delivery at an extra charge.
If you order before 12 noon, your order will be dispatched the same day. Orders received after 12 noon will be dispatched on the following working day. For the avoidance of doubt, our working days are Monday to Friday inclusive and exclude bank holidays.
Our 1st class service uses either Royal Mail 1st class large letter or small parcel. This is dependant on the final size and weight of your parcel, up to a total of 2kg.
Royal Mail aim to deliver your order on the next working day.
Parcels over 2kg are sent via UPS courier.
UPS also aim to deliver your order on the next working day.
Special delivery is charged at £6.95 per order. This guarantees your parcel will arrive before one pm on the next working day during normal circumstances.
