Cinnamon Spiced Latte with a Twist

I think it’s safe to say that summer has been and gone.

Although this means no more cold brew coffee or iced coffee for a while, how does a cinnamon-spiced latte with a little twist sound?

Tom toasts the spices and spice blends to enhance their aromas. To make sure the spices are as fresh as possible, the team grind in small batches regularly.

Not only are their spices super fresh, but they are 100% natural too!

The Twist

In this recipe, we use their Turkish drinking spice blend which is conveniently available through our shop, and it is sent with FREE1st class tracked delivery on orders over £25.

This coffee spice blend created by Tom and the team combines flavours and aromas of both Moroccan and Turkish drinks.

The pack contains 25g of coffee spice blend, which will last for ages as only a small amount is required to add a unique taste to your already awesome coffee.

Great if you are looking for an alternative to sugar or sweetener too.

The Latte

Café Latte means coffee with milk. In this recipe, that is the angle we are going for. You don’t necessarily need an espresso machine to make this café latte, just your favourite brewing device. We would, however, recommend that you brew your coffee shorter and stronger than usual, leaving more room for milk.

You will need the following

Your favourite Two Chimps Coffee

Milk – Whole milk is easier to work with, and tastes fantastic too.

A coffee mug,

Cinnamon

And some Turkish drinking spice

whisking milk in a pan

Right then, let’s do this!

Firstly brew your coffee stronger and shorter than usual with your preferred brewing device.

While giving your coffee time to brew if needed, warm and whisk the desired amount of milk to fill your mug. Do so either in a pan on the hob, or jug in the microwave.

Add a ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon and a ¼ teaspoon of Turkish drinking spice to your warming milk.

Pour your short sharp coffee and top with lashings of warm spiced milk.

If it has been one of those days, add some whipped cream to finish. You deserve it.

And that’s all there is to it! This drink is super simple to make and is ideal for those cold nights. So, put the fire on, pop your feet up and watch a film.
