  Espresso Machine Cleaning Powder

   

  Freshly roasted coffee beans brim with natural sugars and oils. This is a GOOD THING. This ain’t the teeth-decaying kind of sugar you find in your cola – coffee sugars and oils are what bring the flavour!

   

  When you brew coffee, the flavour-packed oils come out to play. This makes your cup taste awesome (yay!) but can clog up the inside of your brewing device (not-so-yay). Keep your coffee maker clean of these oils, and you’ll enjoy better-tasting coffee and a longer-lasting brewing device. Great stuff!

   

  The same applies to your espresso machine. However, reaching all those nooks and crannies inside your machine can be tricky. No fear! This espresso cleaning powder from Puly Caff makes machine maintenance a breeze! And, guess what? The expert formula is now phosphate-free and 100% organic!

   

  Simply pop your blanking disc into your portafilter and add 3-5g of powder. Flush the water through for 10 seconds. Repeat this step five times. Then, remove the portafilter and let the water run through the shower screen above. Put your portafilter back on and repeat the above steps without any powder.

  You can also use Puly Caff powder to clean portafilter handles and baskets. Just add 10g of powder to one litre of hot water and leave the handles in the solution for 15 minutes before rinsing under the tap.
