Hessian is a natural material made from the jute plant – one of the most sustainable crops there is. The sturdy plant strands are woven together into breathable designs that are ideal for keeping coffee beans fresh. But the uses don’t stop there – far from it! Super-strong hessian is great for bags of every sort, and we like to use these upcyled bags as shopping bags, beach bags, overnight bags, bags for bags of style… upcycled hessian ticks all the boxes!
Each shoulder bag is made by hand only a few minutes from our roastery. The ever-changing variety of sacks that arrive here at TCC keeps each bag 100% unique. What’s more, the haberdashery offcuts used to finish each design make them just as beautiful inside as they are out.
