With the cosy season just around the corner, we’ve got some exciting news to share! You can now pick up a box of Two Chimps Coffee at Belvoir Castle’s Farmshop, The Engine Yard in Grantham! This charming shop is part of the Belvoir Estate and specializes in locally sourced goodies from nearby farms and artisans. We’re absolutely delighted to welcome them into the Two Chimps family!

Where is Belvoir Castle?

This incredible estate in Leicestershire has been home to the Duke of Rutland and his family for nearly a thousand years! Nestled with beautiful views of the Vale of Belvoir, it’s perfect for a fun day out. The castle hosts a variety of family-friendly events throughout the year, making it a fantastic community spot.

Don’t miss out on the lovely gardens, where you can wander along many scenic walking paths, including the three-mile Duke’s Walk that takes you through the stunning estate. This lovely spot has been the backdrop for beautiful weddings and corporate events, and it’s also served as a filming location for popular shows like Young Victoria and The Crown.

Where is the Farm shop?

Initially used by tradespeople during the construction of Belvoir Castle in the 1800s, the Engine Yard is now home to their retail village, which is where the Farm Shop is located. Before opening its doors, it went under an extensive refurbishment, with bricks and beams being reused from the original structure to keep its history intact.

Home to dozens of incredible delicacies, you can also find a butchery and deli counter with artisanal cheeses and cured meats, amongst other goodies. Each product has been thoughtfully selected to reflect the traditional things found in the region.

Meet the chimp behind this article!
Head Chimp founded Two Chimps alongside Laura in 2016 after being self-employed from the age of 21. He caught the coffee bug from using an at-home roaster, and the rest is history!

What Andy does outside of the treehouse:
When the weather’s nice, Andy loves going on bike rides with his trusty sidekick, microchimp Felix (who always leads the way, of course). Andy also enjoys spending time tending to the family’s vegetable garden, and looking after their at-home farmyard, which includes a cat, two guinea pigs, and six chickens!

Andy says…
“I believe every day is a school day, and I’m always looking for opportunities to stick my head in a book and absorb new knowledge. I also love a problem to solve and fix – there’s no such thing as problems, only solutions.”
