This title sounds like the BEST day out for some of us at Two Chimps HQ.
Awesome coffee and awesome hair – what more could a chimp want?!
Introducing Good Hair Days Hair and Beauty Salons; not one salon either, but TWO.
Nikki Thorpe first opened the doors to Good Hair Days in 2002 and now has a fabulous team across the original Uppingham salon, and also the latest edition in Stamford. All of her team duplicate her care and attention to detail, and they will always greet you with a smile.
Uppingham
The first salon in Hopes Yard is based in the picturesque town of Uppingham. Hopes Yard is just off the main shopping street surrounded by original red-bricked buildings that are full of character. Uppingham is a small town within Rutland that is filled with independent boutique businesses – it’s excellent for a mooch and shopping trip should you ever find yourself in the area with an hour or two to kill.
The Uppingham salon offers the tranquil beauty retreat for skin treatments, massages and a nail bar. This is complemented by a unique and set aside room for clients to enjoy some me-time – sounds great!
Stamford
Good Hair Days in Stamford is based on Alexandra road, just out of the main town. Along with women’s hair, they offer children’s cuts, men’s hair, colours and a nail bar!
Both salons offer bridal packages too, along with luxury products to take home.
Does work get in the way? That’s no problem as both Salons open until 7.30 pm on a Wednesday.
Good Hair and Good Coffee
To add to their offerings, Good Hair Days now offers you freshly roasted and brewed Two Chimps Coffee – Wahoo!
At Good Hair Days in Stamford, you can enjoy a freshly brewed cafetiere of a silky smooth and chocolatey coffee. Currently being served is The Kittens Onesie from Nicaragua. The team will freshly prepare and brew your coffee while you sit back and relax, nothing beats the smell of freshly brewed coffee!
In the Uppingham salon, Niki and her team are trained baristas who will use their espresso machine to make you a latte, cappuccino, flat white or americano – wowzas! So, what could be better than sitting back, relaxing and enjoying a cup of freshly brewed espresso? Maybe having your hair cut should become a weekly treat?!
Guys, you don’t need to feel left out; the team at Good Hair Days also offer men’s cuts. Therefore, gents, you can enjoy a cup of two chimps too!
Free training
Fancy serving awesome coffee at your place, but don’t know where to start? No problemo. Every wholesale coffee customer that joins the troop is treated to free and unlimited training, for life. How cool is that?
With training in mind, we had an awesome morning training the team at Good Hair Days in Uppingham. Lots of espresso, milk steaming and pouring fun was had by all!
Here at Two Chimps, we freshly roast speciality coffees by hand and in small batches from our roastery in Rutland. We also deliver weekly, meaning that Good Hair Days always receive the freshest coffee possible.
Good Hair Days also have bags of coffee for you to take home. These are freshly roasted and ground ready for you to brew in a cafetiere – meaning you can grab a bag whilst you’re there.
