Nice Pie is an award-winning pie bakery in Old Dalby, Leicestershire, where pie-loving experts cook, craft and crimp to perfection. These are the proper sort of pies (no sogginess in sight). Nice Pie Opens Up Shop

Katharine Walmsley started the Nice Pie bakery in 2013. Long passionate about quality food, Katharine aimed to bring her love of savoury baking to foodies nationwide. Pies are things of (gravy-decked) beauty, but take time to make from scratch. This is where Nice Pie comes in! Simply choose your favourite pastry treat from their bakery or online store, pop it in the oven and await pie-fection!

Following the success of the pie bakery, Nice Pie expanded in 2015 with a new Farm Shop & Tea Room in West Bridgford. Now, locals can enjoy piled-high pie meals plus home-style breakfasts, scrummy cakes and freshly roasted Two Chimps Coffee. Great stuff!

You’ll find Nice Pie’s popular tea room in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire. Pop along for scrummy breakfasts, lunches, platters and pie meals, plus a deliciously indulgent range of cakes from Nottingham-based Baked by Mimi.

Breakfast options include bacon sandwiches and full English breakfasts. Lunch options are just as lovely: toasties, quiches and salad bowls keep everyone happy! Fancy a treat? Book a place on one of the themed afternoon teas held throughout the year.

And the pie meals? They’re next-level awesome! Switch up Sunday dinner with a Nice Sunday Pie Roast – it’s a towering structure featuring a bedrock of buttery mash, a freshly baked Nice Pie, Yorkshire pud crown and parsnip crisp plumes. All served with veg and plenty of gravy (what else?).

Whether you’re looking for an accompaniment to cake or the perfect finish to your Sunday lunch, great coffee is a must. Katharine and Philip knew that Nice Pie customers wanted the best, so reached out to us with a task: to bring freshly roasted coffee to the Nice Pie Tea Room!

Did someone say fresh coffee? What about hand-roasted? And don’t forget the drop-dead gorgeous flavour! Because that’s what we do at Two Chimps!

Nice Pie’s West Bridgford café serve two veeery nice Two Chimps coffees. First up is our green-labelled Guatemalan coffee. This is currently our Pull up a Chair coffee, which features standout notes of chocolate and toffee. Then there’s Don’t Poke the Bear, a medium-dark roast with hints of caramel, melon and summer-fresh red apple. Ooooh, just lush!

Decaf lover? Great news coming up! Nice Pie also serves speciality Two Chimps decaf in their coffee drinks!
