Nestled on the high street in Kelvedon, EDON is a family-owned business run by Amy & Ben, with their two boys getting involved in taste-testing every cake and sweet treat (it must have their expert seal of approval, of course). Duffy, the dog, even has a say in making sure Puppuccinos have a permanent place on the menu!

Amy & Ben decided to open EDON when they noticed there was nowhere in their village to get a great cup of coffee and meet with friends. Therefore, when the opportunity came up to open their very own shop, they jumped at the chance! They had a clear vision of the vibe they wanted to create in this space, and with a lot of hard work and long days renovating, it has come together to form this relaxing, cosy environment. It is the perfect place to pop down for a bite to eat or have a coffee alongside a slice of homemade cake or pastry made by Barista Holly.

Amy & Ben have been blown away by their fantastic customer base, and have formed a close bond with their regular customers. They have been so happy to hear all the positive feedback about the store and always consider any customer questions or suggestions.

The EDON team is currently renovating their kitchen, allowing them to make more delicious food in-house, improving their Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch menu. More incredible food? Yes, please!

With free Wi-Fi available, EDON welcomes people who work from home, with plenty of space for laptops or informal business meetings. Even the littlest of customers have their own dedicated space in the form of a games station. There are board games, colouring in sheets and special offers such as half-team treats and mini pancakes for pancake day.

Retail

Alongside the café, they also stock a selection of hand-selected homeware, gifts, flowers, and plants. Supporting other small businesses is very important to the EDON team, so they focus on using local businesses in the coffee shop and retail, which is why they got in touch with us at Two Chimps Coffee!

We are so proud to be part of their family in the form of our speciality single-origin brews. Love at first sip? Why not grab a bag to take home? EDON stocks our retail boxes so you can create a great coffee at home or pass on the gift of great coffee to someone else. Whole bean, ground, or decaf- they have it all!

EDON shares our sustainability vision, ensuring their takeaway cups are 100% plastic-free and recyclable, also offering their own Circular & Co reusable cups. When it comes to their beautiful flowers, they are wrapped in brown paper rather than plastic, which is a simple change which makes such a big difference! Great work, team!
