The answer is Two Chimps coffee of course! And the good news is you now can. Just head over to the Lodge Trust Country Park and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of awesome Two Chimps coffee.

Welcome to the Lodge Trust Country Park Café

Situated just a few miles from Rutland water and close to the market town of Oakham, The Lodge Trust Country Park offers log cabin holiday accommodation, as well as camping facilities and a café and shop. The ten-acre site has a beautiful country path to walk, and picnic tables to sit and cool your heels. Dogs are welcome on a lead at the tables outside the café and in the County Park. There’s also an awesome children’s playground outside the café.

The café serves hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice creams and tasty homemade cakes, as well as a wide selection of seasonal produce. You can also buy plants grown by residents at The Lodge Trust. Disabled access is excellent, with special car-parking and a ramp into the main building.

A charitable cup of coffee

The best bit about buying your coffee in the café is you’re helping to provide adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to participate in work-based training. Profits from the café are given to The Lodge Trust charity, which uses that money to give more people the chance to learn new skills in hospitality, catering, and tourism.

Established in 1984, The Lodge Trust provides Christian support for adults with learning disabilities, giving them person-centred choice and control over their lives. The trust has three main objectives which have remained constant since its inception – to provide a Christian home for people with learning disabilities, to provide residents with training and employment in a manner best suited to their needs, and to enable the residents to care for themselves wherever possible.

Local businesses working together

As with all our awesome wholesale customers, we dispatched Head Chimp Andy to The Lodge to help them set up their coffee machine and ensure every coffee is super tasty. He also taught the team there how to make perfect espresso, texture milk, and make lovely latte art.

We’re passionate about supporting our wholesale coffee customers every way we can, whether that’s with fantastic freshly roasted speciality coffee and continuous free training, or with free point-of-sale materials like super cool Two Chimps strut boards and leaflets explaining who we are and where our coffee comes from. We also create blogs like this one and posts across our social media platforms.

Loved the latte you had at The Lodge? Buy the coffee for yourself!
